Our History

Stalab has been a specialist laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility testing since 1995, when Gianfranco Donati and Francesco Trapani decided to put their engineering expertise at the service of manufacturers and designers for the development of electrical machinery and equipment. Founded in Verona, STA was ahead of its time, launching these services just as the first EMC Directive (89/336/CEE) came into effect.

S.T.A. S.r.l. (Servizi e Tecnologie Avanzate) was established in 1995 with the mission of partnering with builders and designers of electrical and electronic equipment. We provide expert support in fine-tuning products to ensure full compliance with Directive 2014/30/EU (Electromagnetic Compatibility), 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive) and 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive). Since 2003, we have been proud to operate as an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
